Free Raunächte Guide
12 Nights Between Years To Reflect And Reset
A gentle companion for the Raunächte from 25 December to 6 January with simple rituals, journaling prompts and space to write your own story.
The days between Christmas and the new year often feel like a strange in between.
Not really work, not really holidays.
In old European traditions this time is seen as sacred. The Raunächte.
Twelve nights to look back, listen within and plant seeds for the year ahead.
I created this free Raunächte guide as a soft invitation to use these nights more intentionally.
No pressure. No perfection. Just a simple structure that holds you while you move through this special time.
What Are Raunächte?
Raunächte, sometimes written Rauhnächte, are the twelve nights between the years.
Traditionally they begin around 25 December and end around 6 January.
In many stories each night is connected to one month of the coming year.
People use this time to:
• slow down and let the old year really land
• notice dreams, symbols and little signs
• reflect on what they want to leave behind
• set gentle intentions for the year ahead
You do not have to follow any strict rules.
This guide offers you a simple framework so you can move through the Raunächte in a way that feels honest, kind and true to you.
